By accessing our website or engaging us for services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please don't use the website or services.

WHAT WE DO.

Blank Space provides creative and digital services that may include:

• Brand strategy

• Visual identity

• Digital design

• Website design

• Web development

• Framer development

• Motion and interaction design

• Other creative or digital services agreed with a client

The specific scope, deliverables, timeline and fees for a project will be agreed separately in writing.

EVERY PROJECT IS DIFFERENT.

For client projects, the specific terms of the engagement will be set out in a proposal, statement of work, contract, or other written agreement.
That agreement may define:

• Scope of work

• Deliverables

• Timeline

• Fees

• Payment schedule

• Revisions

• Responsibilities

• Intellectual property

• Confidentiality

• Cancellation or termination

If a project-specific agreement conflicts with these Terms, the project-specific agreement will generally take precedence to the extent of the conflict.

BRING YOUR SIDE OF THE TABLE.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, feedback, materials, approvals and access reasonably required to complete a project.
Delays in providing these materials or approvals may affect the project timeline.
You also confirm that any materials you provide to us are yours to use or that you have obtained the necessary rights and permissions.

THE MONEY PART.

Fees, payment schedules and applicable expenses will be agreed before work begins.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are payable according to the terms stated on the applicable invoice or project agreement.
Late payments may affect project timelines or result in work being paused until outstanding amounts are resolved.
Additional work outside the agreed scope may require a separate estimate or fee.

KEEPING THINGS MOVING.

Project proposals may include a defined number of revision rounds or review stages.
Requests that materially change the agreed scope, direction or deliverables may require additional time or fees.
We'll aim to communicate any significant scope changes before carrying out additional work.

WHO OWNS WHAT.

Ownership and licensing of project work will be determined by the applicable project agreement.
Space retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, processes, methods, templates, frameworks, concepts and other materials developed independently of a client project.
Third-party materials, fonts, software, stock assets and other licensed elements remain subject to their respective licences.
Final ownership or usage rights may be transferred to the client once applicable fees have been paid, subject to the project agreement.

WE LIKE SHOWING OUR WORK.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Blank Space may display completed work in its portfolio, website, social channels, presentations and other promotional materials.
We may identify the client and describe our role in the project.
Confidential or unreleased work will not be publicly displayed where we've agreed to keep it confidential.

WE DON'T KISS AND TELL.

Both parties may receive confidential information during a project.
Each party agrees to use reasonable care to protect confidential information and not disclose it to third parties except where necessary to perform the agreement, required by law, or otherwise authorised.

USING THIS WEBSITE.

You may use the Blank Space website for lawful purposes only.
You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website

• Interfere with its operation

• Introduce malicious code

• Copy or reproduce content without permission

• Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes

• Misrepresent your relationship with Blank Space

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website or our users.

OTHER PEOPLE'S STUFF.

The website may contain links to third-party websites, services, tools or platforms.
We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, availability, security or policies.
Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.

THE LEGAL BIT.

We aim to provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided without guarantees that they will always be available, error-free or suitable for every purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Any additional limitations of liability applicable to a client project should be addressed in the relevant project agreement.

WHEN THINGS END.

Either party may terminate a project where permitted by the applicable project agreement.
Upon termination, the client remains responsible for fees for work completed and approved expenses incurred up to the termination date, subject to the terms of the applicable agreement.

THE RULES CAN CHANGE.

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
For client projects, changes to these website Terms do not automatically modify an existing project agreement.

WHERE THE RULES APPLY.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Earth, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes will be handled in the courts or dispute-resolution forum specified in the applicable project agreement or, where no project agreement applies, the appropriate courts of Earth.
